California Courts of Appeal
The California Courts of Appeal are divided into six appellate districts, based on geography. Some of the appellate districts are further divided into Divisions.

The California Official Reports website is intended to provide public access to California´s precedential appellate decisions.
California Superior Courts
California has 58 trial courts, one in each county. In trial (superior) courts, a judge and sometimes a jury hears witnesses' testimony and other evidence and decides cases by applying the relevant law to the relevant facts. The California courts serve the state's population of more than 39 million people.
California Supreme Court
As the state's highest court, its decisions are binding on all other California state courts.

FindLaw maintains a searchable database of U.S. Supreme Court decisions since 1760. It also has information about the U.S. Code, U.S. Constitution, and state codes and caselaw. It also provides access to decisions from state supreme courts and state appellate courts.

State of California Commission on Judicial Performance
The Commission on Judicial Performance, established in 1960, is the independent state agency responsible for investigating complaints of judicial misconduct and judicial incapacity and for disciplining judges, pursuant to article VI, section 18 of the California Constitution.
