LRNR 30: Information Concepts and Research Skills: Texts on Reserve

General research guide for LRNR 30 class

What is a Course Reserve?

Purpose

Texts put on Reserve at the library are texts that the instructor has either lent to the library, can be a compendium source with examples, or a print textbook offered for hundreds of students.  Depending on the size of the course, we may have one copy, or ten.  For example, we have approximately 8 copies of MATH C, while we only have 1 copy for Professor Fries ENGL 1A final paper topic.

Course Reserves check out to students for 2 hours.  During the pandemic, the library will make you photocopies of the chapters that you need and make them available for pick up in the Library lobby.  You will need to send your request through a CHAT or through email to the librarian Reference Desk.  See the Library Homepage and navigate to the chat icon to make this happen.
