The Merced College Library now subscribes to JSTOR Essential, a database that is helpful for those researching in the humanities and social sciences disciplines. JSTOR Essential provides access to content from over 680 journals. Due to COVID-19, JSTOR is also providing temporary access to journals and primary source material not covered through the Essential subscription through June 30, 2021.
In this session, faculty librarian Lindsay Davis will walk you through:
JSTOR is a digital library of academic content in many formats and disciplines. The collections include top peer-reviewed scholarly journals as well as respected literary journals, academic monographs, research reports from trusted institutes, and primary sources. JSTOR is part of ITHAKA, a not-for-profit organization that also includes Ithaka S+R and Portico.
JSTOR can also be found in the library's A-Z database list.
