The Merced College Library now subscribes to JSTOR Essential, a database that is helpful for those researching in the humanities and  social sciences disciplines. JSTOR Essential provides access to content from over 680 journals. Due to COVID-19, JSTOR is also providing temporary access to journals and primary source material not covered through the Essential subscription through June 30, 2021.

In this session, faculty librarian Lindsay Davis will walk you through:

  • JSTOR’s search functionality and features
  • an interactive Merced College Library database tutorial you can assign students
  • additional ideas for how instructors can use JSTOR for online course development
