Now in its 12th version, the Media Bias Chart was originally compiled by Vanessa Otero in order to share where sources lie in terms of bias.

Click on the names of the news sources listed alphabetically at the bottom of the Interactive Media Bias Chart.

AllSides is similar to MBFC but is more limited in the number of sources it contains. Each news source is classified into categories (left bias, lean left bias, center, lean right bias, and right bias). AllSides determines its bias ratings through blind surveys, third party data, and community feedback.

Use Media Bias / Fact Check (MBFC) to check a source's political bias (left bias, left-center bias, least biased, right-center bias, right bias, and extreme on both the left and right) and level of factual reporting (very high, high, mostly factual, mixed, low, and very low).
