Academic Video Online is a comprehensive video subscription. It includes over 70,000 titles spanning a wide range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music, and more.
You can search in channels, which are subject categories, or in specific collections like BBC videos, Sony Classics, or Black Studies in Video.
To search for a specific title within AVON, you can click on the search CLICK option at the upper right. There are three choices in the pull down menu: current channel, all videos, or all channels. If you select "all videos" you will have the broadest search of the entire collection. The other two options limit your search to videos within a specific channel or subject area.
