Theatre: Theatre Internships

Internships

Interns with theatres and theatre companies may be paid but don't pass by unpaid internships.  Theatre work, paid or unpaid, is still work experience and can be used on your resume.

Internships change all the time so if there are no opportunities available at the companies below when you look, wait and look again.

The locations below are not the only places to look.  Use Google, or your choice of browser, to search "Theater Internships" or "Theatre Internships." Search the type of internship you may be interested in such as "Musical Theatre Internships" or "Comedy Internships."  If you are unable to relocate or travel for an internship, add your location to your search.

Sometimes volunteering can be the best way to get into theatre work.  Don't be afraid to call your location theatre.

Larger theatres may have more opportunities but small theatres still need people to work.

Be creative!
